This automotive masterpiece represents a blend of classic Ferrari aesthetics and advanced engineering.

The 456M GT, a sophisticated evolution of Ferrari’s front-engined lineage, debuted in 1992 as the successor to the 412. Crafted by Pininfarina, it echoes the illustrious lines of the 365 GTC/4 and the Daytona, showcasing Ferrari’s timeless design ethos. The use of a tubular steel spaceframe chassis, combined with composite and aluminum bodywork, resulted in a vehicle that's both lightweight and robust, weighing in at just 1690kg.

Powering this elegant 2+2 coupe is a 5.5-liter V12 engine, a marvel of Ferrari’s engineering prowess. Delivering 442 bhp and 404lb ft of torque, it propels the 456M GT from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 5.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 188 mph – a remarkable feat, securing its status as the world’s fastest 4-seater of its time.

The 1998 Geneva Motor Show witnessed the unveiling of the 456 Modificata (456M), featuring aesthetic and technical refinements. Notable updates included a smoother bonnet, an aerodynamically enhanced front bumper, and a redesigned rear with a fixed spoiler. The interior received significant updates for enhanced comfort and ergonomics, including a new steering wheel and dashboard layout.

This specific 456M GT, boasting the coveted Scuderia shields, is a rare gem with a rich history. Initially owned by renowned musician Eric Clapton, it’s finished in Argento Nürburgring with a Beige interior, complemented by Bordeaux carpets, and the essential open-gated manual gearbox.

Having passed through the hands of DK Engineering and meticulously cared for by its subsequent owners, this 456M GT has been part of our storage facility since 2019. It recently underwent Ferrari’s Premium Program and a major service in March 2024, including cambelt replacement and switch refurbishment, amounting to over £30,000 in maintenance.

Today, with just 25,400 miles on the clock, this exceptional vehicle comes with its history folio, original book pack, Ferrari red book Classiche certification, original luggage set, and more, making it an unmissable opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Visit Carhuna's auction page to experience the elegance and power of this 2002 Ferrari 456M GT before bidding concludes on April 10th.
