About this specific vehicle
Aston Martin Vantage Volante 2003 Convertible, EW03 NVU, V12 Petrol engine with automatic transmission.
The Aston Martin DB7 is widely recognised as one of the most important vehicles in the history of the company and it is accepted that its success during its production run transformed the fortunes of Aston Martin. The DB7 was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993. It is also thought by many to be one of the most beautiful and well designed cars of its generation.
During the production run from 1993 until the final car was made in 2003 a total of 7000 units were made at Newport Pagnell. The V12 Vantage cars were introduced in 1999 and it is thought that some 2000 cars were made as Vantage Volante models for the worldwide market in both right and left hand drive. The V12 model produced 420 BHP with an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 5 seconds and a top speed of 185 MPH.
The car we have here was purchased by its first owner the Chairman of a major UK public Company who had his home in Essex and was first registered on the 5th March 2003. He kept the car until 2010 during which time he completed 17,000 miles. The car changed hands to its second owner who resided in East Sussex in 2010 and he kept the car for about 1 year and then was acquired by its current owner who also lives in East Sussex in 2011. At the time of the last change of ownership in 2011 the car was registering 19,950 miles on the odometer.
At the last MOT in November 2021 it had just 25,584 miles shown. So with its age of 19 years this is a beautiful extremely low mileage example of one of the finest Grand Touring cars made by a truly great British sports car manufacturer and has always been looked after regardless of cost and maintained by Aston Martin specialists during its lifetime. In 2013 a completely new black mohair hood was supplied and fitted by Aston Martin specialists when the mileage was 23,339.
The car is in almost perfect condition and must be one of the finest examples that is currently available.
