About this specific vehicle
This is an original Maize Yellow RS1600 BDA. Build number 40, with extensive history and a no expense spared, full nut and bolt restoration that took place between 2015-18. With just 59k miles, and 5 miles since restoration, this is a spectacular example of the original fast ford.
Its records detail every owner since new and even holds its original Ford warranty card from 1971. Along with its full body restoration the car's BDA race engine has been rebuilt by performance experts and has covered sub 50 miles.
This RS1600 has had an extensive, no expense spared, full nut and bolt restoration, brining this car to concours condition. More importantly it has been done with original and period correct parts. This car is as it was when it rolled out of the factory in 1971.
The car has further benefitted from new spark plugs in June 2023 and drives and runs as if it had just left the factory.
