About this specific vehicle
This beautiful left had drive 356 Speedster has the four speed manual gearbox and is finished in Signal Red with black leather sports seats, the 1600cc flat four air cooled engine develops 60bhp. Featuring a black hood with side screens, 15" steel wheels with chrome hub caps, tonneau cover, spare wheel, tool kiet & jack.
The Speedster was introduced in late 1954 after importer Max Hoffman advised Porsche that a "striped out" open top version of the 356 would appeal to the American market. It proved to be an immediate hit and became the lightweight race car of choice.
The limited production continued till 1956 when it was replaced by the convertible 356 D. The 356 Speedster was seen as the iconic 1950's sports car.
Paragon purchased this 356 in California in 2014 and was then sold by us the only UK owner who has owned it ever since.
Complete with a Porsche certifcate of authenticity, Porsche Kardex, and considerable service history including Paragon. It has also been subject to prominent magazine features which are included in the sale.
