General Description
The Mercedes GLC coupe presents revised sleeker styling to the standard GLC model and when you add AMG designation and specifically "S" to the Mercedes-AMG GLC model range - you end up with one of the fastest SUV's on the road. The GLC 63 Coupe in it's own right has 469 BHP, but the ultimate "S" model has 503 BHP and 516lb/ft of torque - which translates to What Car magazine recording 0-60mph and 0-100mph times of 3.6sec and 9.0sec and on to an electronically limted top speed of 174 mph. The first time you give one of these full beans is usually a laugh out loud moment as it feels incongruous to be in such a commanding driving position with such huge amounts of thrust at your command.
Whilst this brutal power and acceleration which will keep your labrador's neck in good trim, the great thing about the AMG is that as inevitably we shall move into smaller capacity turbocharged engines to meet increasingly demanding emissions requirements - the legendary 4.0 twin turbo AMG V8 still sounds absolutely majestic.
The engine is mated to a AMG Speedshift MCT nine-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive with an electronically controlled rear differential for maximum traction, plus adjustable air suspension, so you can harden or soften it to suit driving conditions so you can stiffen or soften it depending on road conditions and your mood.
The model's are predicatbly very highly specified as standard but the AMG Night package adds a high-gloss black front splitter in the front apron and the diffuser panel on the rear apron with a trim strip in high-gloss black.
Premium Plus is based on Premium, and adds Burmester® surround sound system, COMAND Online with touchpad, 8.4-inch high-resolution colour display, navigation with 3D map and internet connectivity.
One of, if not THE fastest mid-size SUV made and probably one of the last models to feature these characterful V8 engines.
About this specific vehicle
This vehicle was delivered to it's first and only previous owner on the 30th November 2022 from Mercedes-Benz of Winchester.
As a Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC Night Edition Premium Plus - the car is in the highest specification available for a GLC model.
The car features the Premium Plus interior which adds Burmester® surround sound system, COMAND Online with touchpad, 8.4-inch high-resolution colour display, navigation with 3D map and internet connectivity.
Additionally as a Night Edition, the car has a high-gloss black front splitter in the front apron and the diffuser panel on the rear apron with a trim strip in high-gloss black.
More or less immediately from new, a comprehensive PPF package was applied to the vehicle, which coupled to it's age and having covered a mere 1000 from delivery, explains the stunning condition of the vehicle.
An opportunity to acquire a nearly new ultimate spec GLC 63 S at a significant saving on list.
