Rolls-Royce are often regarded as the finest makers of automobiles in the world since the company was founded back in 1906 by eccentric businessman Charles Rolls and pioneering engineer Henry Royce. One such example of this ambition, is the Rolls-Royce Wraith.

The story of the Wraith starts with the introduction of the Phantom Coupe in 2008. The phantom coupe was the first two door coupe produced by Rolls-Royce under the ownership by BMW and used the same platform as the Phantom. By 2013, it was decided that it needed to be replaced with a completely new model and development began on a successor. In 2013, the Roll-Royce Wraith was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

Unlike its predecessor, the Wraith used the brand new Ghost platform instead of the Phantom as its base. It is powered by 6.6 litres V12 that is twin turbo charged, producing 623 hp. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 mph, making it the fastest accelerating Rolls-Royce ever produced at the time. However, despite the impressive performance, it still retained the great qualities of a Rolls-Royce. Inside the Wraith displays the opulence you would expect from a Rolls-Royce with the finest materials being used. Driving the Wraith also provides a sense of luxury, as it glides along with the driver able to hear a pin drop inside the cabin, even on the noisiest of roads.
