General Description
First launched in 2011, the Lamborghini Aventador was the replacement to the ageing Murcielago and the latest in a lineage of extreme road cars; visually, aurally and dynamically.
Maintaining Lamborghini’s visual drama, the Aventador continued on the Italian marque’s recipe. Scissor doors, a naturally aspirated V12, four-wheel drive and blistering performance. The all-new V12 finally closed the door on the Bizzarini-engineered original that had stuck around since 1963. Now with a shorter stroke, the engine revs more freely, developing more power and across the rev range.
From a technical perspective, the Aventador introduced a carbon fibre monocoque offering a lighter and stiffer body, Formula 1 style pushrod suspension and a new seven-speed clutchless manual gearbox with three dynamic modes. Raising on the performance figures of the preceding LP 640 & LP 670 Superveloce, at the time of introduction, and to use its full name, the Aventador LP700-4 offered just shy of 700 bhp.

About this specific vehicle
2016 marked the 50th anniversary of the 1966 Lamborghini Miura P400. The Miura was the first publicly available mid-engined supercar and a car that turned the supercar world upside down at its arrival. Bold colours, a mid-engined V12 and out-of-this-world styling. The Miura left even Ferrari playing catchup.
To celebrate the occasion, Lamborghini launched the Miura Homage in tribute. Created through their Ad Personam Studio department, the ‘Miura’ was available in the very same 18 original colours of the Miura with lower trim painted in contrasting Gold or matte Silver.
Just 50 examples were built and it is understood that just 4 cars reached the UK. This example is optioned in Deep Black Gold Miura with matt gold accents to the sills, front bumper and the staggered Dione forged alloy wheels in matching gold.
Inside, the sports seats are trimmed in black leather, as is the dashboard and door panels, all accented by gold stitching. There are black 'Miura 50' badges on the sills, and gold embroidered 'Miura 50' emblems in the seat backrests. Other specification highlights include carbon ceramic brakes; Öhlins magneto-rheological suspension; carbon-fibre interior trim; front and rear parking sensors; heated seats; Sensonum sound system; and a reversing camera.
First supplied in 2016, this example has seen 5 services despite having covered just 2,500 miles from new. Presenting superbly, this Miura Homage must be one of the best looking Aventadors to leave the factory. This example is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately.
