In the short time that McLaren have been regularly making production cars, the McLaren 675LT could be argued as one of their greatest creations. The "675" in its name signifies its impressive power output of 675 metric horsepower, while "LT" stands for "Longtail," a homage to the iconic McLaren F1 GTR Longtail.
The McLaren 675LT boasts a distinctive and aggressive exterior design that optimizes aerodynamic efficiency while maintaining a sense of aesthetics. The extended rear bodywork is a signature feature and it uses carbon fibre components to reduce weight. The interior is designed with the driver in mind, featuring premium materials, sporty seats, and a minimalist yet functional layout.
McLaren have taken its most potent 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 engine and carefully improved upon it; with nearly 50% of the parts completely unique to the 675, it now unleashes an additional 25bhp and 22Nm for a thrilling total of 666bhp and 700Nm, and a class-leading 541bhp per tonne.
To match the impressive headline figures the engine also outlets a uniquely rich and aggressive sound, thanks to its new lightweight titanium exhaust system with distinctive twin exhaust outlets, and the ignition cut in Sport mode.
An adaptive suspension system continuously adjusts damping to optimize handling and ride comfort. The carbon-ceramic brakes offer exceptional stopping power and the active aerodynamics system adjusts to provide optimal downforce.
The McLaren 675LT is a remarkable fusion of cutting-edge technology, breath taking performance, and striking design. It represents the pinnacle of McLaren's engineering expertise and is a testament to the brand's commitment to creating uncompromising supercars for enthusiasts and collectors alike. Whether on the track or the open road, the McLaren 675LT delivers an unforgettable driving experience that sets it apart as a true automotive masterpiece.
This 675 LT was supplied by McLaren Woking on 29/11/2015 as an EU spec (German) LHD car, with the original invoice showing a list price of nearly 400k Euros including taxes. It is no surprise the car carries a huge amount of optional extras, including a rather extensive list of MSO exclusive parts.
Finished in an exquisite shade of special order Silica White the quality of the hand painted coachwork of the McLaren in unquestionable; radiating light across the Mclaren’s sculpted curves the pearlescent finish exudes elegance. Specified with a Satin Carbon Fibre Exterior Pack and a plethora of MSO carbon extras, including the Side Intakes, Airbrake, Diffuser, Front Splitter, Mirrors, Rear Bumper, Roof and Sills, the track focused ethos of the LT is undisputable, with each contrasting detail situated with almost surgical precision.
The condition of this 675LT is truly impeccable; with front end PPF and just 306 miles on the clock the car is factory fresh, with no discernible blemishes to detract from the brilliant white exterior.
Branded MSO carbon sills greet occupants upon opening the door before climbing across the carbon tub and into the cabin; a sure sign that this is no ordinary road car. A stunning combination of embossed Harissa Red leather and carbon black alcantara adorn the lightweight racing seats, spanning to the dashboard, headlining and optional MSO clubsport rear roll bar. The MSO refinements continue, with lashings of Satin Carbon Fibre detailing the steering wheel, centre console, tunnel and even optional vents. The level of attention to detail is just superb, with even the switchgear taken into consideration, finished in tonal shades of Piano black and Harissa red throughout the interior.
Showing delivery mileage on the odometer it’s no surprise the interior presents as new; with the protective plastic still situated on the central screen and buttons, there are virtually no signs this car has ventured from the showroom.
The unmarked stealth finish ultra lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels, which come as part of the optional Clubsport Pack, sit in impeccable condition with no scuffs or marks in sight. The wheels are wrapped in matching Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R’s which provide exceptional performance on the track and road.
The car also benefits from a carbon fibre braking system, with optional red callipers, greatly increasing stopping power and longevity compared with conventional steel brake systems.
The car was imported to the UK in 2018 and has remained in storage ever since. In November 2020 the car was taken to McLaren New Forest where it was subject to its first service, as well as having any outstanding recalls or campaign updates carried out then again to McLaren main dealer Bell and Colvill in Guildford for it’s second service alongside a fresh MOT in March 2023.
Present with the car is the original bill of sale, certificate of conformity, complete book pack, branded cover, battery charger, V5 and 2 sets of keys.
