General Description
GT3. Three characters which symbolise decades of race engineering distilled and re-worked to create the most precise and engaging road cars from the famous Stuttgart brand. Many will claim to have favourites, but for many, the second generation of Porsche 997 is upheld as ‘peak’ GT3. The 997.2 GT3 was produced in 2010 and 2011, featuring the legendary Mezger engine in 3.8 guise. This was larger than the 3.6 found in its predecessor, resulting in 435 BHP and an increased redline from 8,250 to 8,500 rpm offering a visceral experience.
The 997.2 GT3 is often viewed as one of the last "analogue" GT3s, with a naturally aspirated engine and a six-speed manual transmission. It arrived just before Porsche began incorporating more electronic aids and dual-clutch transmissions in its GT models. This combination of analog feel and modern performance makes it highly desirable among purists and collectors alike. This, teamed with its limited production numbers following the financial crisis, and reputation of being a true ‘drivers car’ have made the 997.2 GT3 one of the greatest road-going neunelfer’s ever produced.

Autofolio Says:
When investing in collectible cars, it's crucial to look beyond just the make, model, and provenance. The vehicle's specification and colour combination are equally important, as they can significantly impact its desirability and value. Unique specifications, especially rare colour options, add to a car's exclusivity and appeal, often creating a "find another one" effect that enhances its market potential.
This 2010 Porsche 911 997.2 GT3, finished in Paint to Sample Macadamia Brown with factory-painted, colour-matched wheels, exemplifies this principle. Its distinctive and elegant appearance sets it apart, making it one of the most unique and sought-after GT3s available—ideal for the discerning collector.
