The Ferrari 599 - Maranello’s front engined powerhouse grand tourer. Officially named the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, it was designed by Pininfarina for Ferrari to succeed the 575M Maranello. The car is named "599" for its engine displacement of 5.99 litres, "GTB" stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta, and "Fiorano" refers to Ferrari's private test track. Standing on the shoulders of Ferrari's other front-engined V12 icons, the 599 was a technological leap forward from its predecessor the 575, leaning on their illustrious 2000’s race history in Formula 1.
Unveiled in 2006 and produced until 2012, the 599 GTB represents the pinnacle of Ferrari's grand touring capabilities—a car equally at home on the open road or tackling tight corners at high speed.
At its beating heart, is a naturally aspirated 6.0L lump, an engine derived from the legendary Ferrari Enzo. Delivering a staggering 612bhp and 448lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed ‘F1’ automated transmission with paddle shift. As a result, the 0-62mph sprint is completed in 3.5 seconds, topping out at 205 MPH.
Marrying its characterful V12 and heart-pounding acceleration with beautifully styled Pininfarina bodywork, this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a rewarding and thoroughly accomplished super-GT equipped with the desirable HGTE package to further enhance the driving experience. Serviced exclusively by Ferrari main dealers from new, it would make a natural addition to any ‘Prancing Horse’ enthusiast’s stable as well as a superbly capable B-road toy or long-distance cruising companion for any keen driver.
Covering just 15,675 miles, this Ferrari 599 presents in excellent order. Finished in the beautiful Nero Daytona and flanked by ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ wing shields. Sitting on immaculate 20” five spoke split rim alloys shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres with contrasting Giallo brake callipers framing the carbon-ceramic brake discs. Inside the cockpit, the driver is welcomed by the timeless combination of Nero leather and alcantara carbon fibre sports seats (with electric and memory function), with contrasting Giallo stitching and emblazoned with Cavallino embroidery. Once inside, you will notice swathes of carbon fibre across the interior and inlays, making for a stylish, yet focused, driver zone. In front of the driver is a carbon-fibre steering wheel with integrated LED shift lights. Other features include dual-zone climate control, Bose sound system, rear luggage straps, and an Alpine stereo with DAB+ and Bluetooth (with the original stereo provided).
Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack, service book, various invoices, battery charger, two Ferrari supplied leather ‘599 GTB’ bags custom shaped for the rear shelf, with dust covers, and two keys.
Most importantly, this car comes from the factory with the highly desirable HGTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) pack, identifiable by the factory 'Handling GTE' stitching in the headrests and additional carbon fibre trim. This pack transforms the car's dynamics by adding:
